HGM Common Series

Eight grades spanning the HGM working range — from the lightest, lowest-strength option to a high-density, high-strength grade — giving formulators a single series for most lightweighting and filling applications.

Grade Comparison

AM-H15 to AM-H60. Density, compressive strength, and thermal conductivity rise with the model number; particle size trends smaller.

Compressive strength test per JC/T 2285-2014 or Q/TIPC-J01-2020. Tap density per GB/T 31057.1-2014. True density per JC/T 2285-2014 or GB/T 21782.2-2008. Thermal conductivity per ASTM D5930-01. Particle size per GB/T 19077-2016.

How to Choose a Grade

As the model number increases, density, compressive strength, and thermal conductivity all increase together, while particle size (D50) trends smaller. Lower-numbered grades (AM-H15, AM-H20) suit applications prioritizing minimum density and cost efficiency where pressure resistance requirements are modest — coatings, low-pressure fillers. Higher-numbered grades (AM-H46 to AM-H60) suit applications with higher pressure or structural demands where a higher-density, higher-strength trade-off is acceptable.

Applications

Plastics, Rubber & Building Materials

General-purpose lightweighting filler improving dimensional stability and reducing shrinkage in resin and composite systems.

Recommended:AM-H15AM-H20AM-H38

Coatings & Adhesive Tapes

Reduces raw material usage while improving insulation and surface finish.

Recommended:AM-H20AM-H38

Oilfield & Marine

As a drilling fluid additive and buoyancy material component, lowers slurry/fluid density while maintaining strength.

Recommended:AM-H20AM-H30AM-H38

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Common Series grade should I start with for a general lightweighting application?
AM-H20 or AM-H38 are commonly used starting points for general plastics, rubber, and coatings lightweighting — let us know your target density and processing method and we can narrow this down further.
What's the difference between the Common Series and the High-Strength Series?
The Common Series covers a broad working range suited to general-purpose applications. The High-Strength Series offers thicker walls and higher compressive strength at comparable particle sizes, intended for demanding high-pressure environments such as deep-sea equipment and oilfield cementing.
Do you provide particle size distribution certificates for each batch?
Yes, a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis including density, compressive strength, and particle size data (D10/D50/D90) is provided with every shipment.
